Imagine going back in time. Imagine going back to when Jesus
walked the shores of the Galilee and the dusty roads of Judea. Imagine meeting
someone who knew Him by His Hebrew name… Yeshua.
Hadassah the Storyteller is just such a person.
Although we may never know if this Jewish woman ever existed, we know that there
were many men and women who believed that the Messiah, the Holy One of Israel
had come. They would follow Him and their lives would never be the same.
Hadassah the Storyteller is a fictional character
representing only one of the multitudes of real, but unknown followers of our
L-rd Yeshua who listened to the Savior’s teachings, witnessed His miracles and
told all they would meet of His sacrificial death and triumphant resurrection!
Using the art of storytelling and the gift of music, Hadassah
the Storyteller brings to life the events that would make history. Come
live the miracle that would forever change the world. See the very Son of G-d
through the eyes of Hadassah the Storyteller.
The Character of Hadassah the Storyteller is
brought to life by Messianic Jewish singer/songwriter Alicia Smith. This “living
history” program is set in Biblical times surrounding the events of Jesus’
earthly ministry and shortly after his death and resurrection.
Hadassah bat Levi, the widowed daughter of a Cohen
(temple priest), leaves her home to follow the Messiah. Taking with her only her
harp and the clothes on her back , she witnesses the awesome events of that
fateful Passover week over 2000 years ago.
During this delightfully engaging experience, audiences will
get a taste of what it must have been like to have been in Jerusalem during this
pivotal time in the history of our faith. The art of storytelling and song are
used to illustrate every emotion of that turbulent time.
Hadassah the Storyteller is a wonderful telling
of the Salvation Story. You will be intrigued, you will be inspired and you will
be challenged to walk your faith as were the followers of Jesus. Audiences young
and old will relate to this story of wonder, faith and joy that is Hadassah
the Storyteller.
